At Panorama Village, we prepared a special day at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, organized as a surprise for Luis Fonsi and Mauricio Rengifo.. The idea was clear: to offer them a complete driving experience, well-structured and with a level of detail rarely seen in private sessions.
The day began with a technical briefing led by the Autódromo instructors, where they explained the fundamentals that would shape the session: braking technique, vehicle weight management, corner support points, and control in unexpected situations. At Panorama Village, we made sure every stage was planned so that both could progress comfortably and safely.
Once on track, the session quickly picked up pace. Fonsi and Mauricio went through dynamics such as drift, water wall and exercises aimed at improving reaction skills and car control in less favorable conditions. The instructors focused on very specific aspects:
– pressure applied to the brake
– weight transfer
– precise steering wheel corrections
– and how to maintain control when the car loses grip
The goal was not just for them to complete the exercises, but to understand the purpose behind each movement and how to apply it later on the track.
After a break, we resumed the activity on the full Algarve circuit. There, they were able to put what they had learned into practice in a more realistic context, driving at their own pace and adapting to the track with greater confidence each lap. Our team took care of all the logistics and ensured that every transition between activities was smooth.
The final part of the day came with the driving of the Caterham Super Seven 600, a very direct vehicle that demands precision and constant focus. It was the perfect way to wrap up the day, reinforcing everything they had learned in a car that communicates every driver input with exceptional clarity.
